New car market in Russia: April, 2014 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), April 2014 saw a drop in sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia by 8% in comparison with the same period of 2013. This April 226,526 units were sold; this is 18,739 units less than in April, 2013.

Lada: 37,030 units
Kia: 17,744 units
Renault*: 17,395 units
Hyundai*: 15,933 units
Toyota*: 15,103 units
Chevrolet: 13,279 units
Nissan*: 11,835 units
Volkswagen: 11,497 units
Škoda: 7,724 units
Opel: 6,493 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
