New car market in Romania: January, 2014 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In January 2014, there were 4,370 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers.

There were 3,855 new passenger cars delivered.
Leading brands
Dacia: 1,031 units
Skoda: 426 units
Ford: 409 units
Volkswagen: 409 units
Opel: 205 units
Renault: 161 units
Toyota: 154 units
Hyundai: 111 units
Audi: 90 units
Chevrolet: 82 units

There were 515 LCVs delivered
Leading brands:
ord: 106 units
Volkswagen: 66 units
Mercedes-Benz: 56 units
Renault: 54 units
Peugeot: 52 units
