According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 12724 new light vehicles registered in Romania during January, 2025

There were 11749 new passenger cars registered in January.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 4009 units
Toyota: 922 units
Škoda: 888 units
Volkswagen: 835 units
Renault: 724 units
Hyundai: 676 units
Ford: 469 units

There were 974 new LCVs registered in January.
Leading brands:
Ford: 274 units
Renault: 258 units
Iveco: 100 units
Volkswagen: 95 units
Mercedes: 62 units
