New Car Market in Romania: August, 2023 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 14154 new light vehicles registered in Romania during August, 2023. CY2023 registrations amount to 109898 units (PC: 99915 units, LCV: 9983 units).

There were 12889 new passenger cars registered in August.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 3823 units
Volkswagen: 1221 units
Škoda: 1007 units
Toyota: 971 units
Renault: 950 units

There were 1265 new LCVs registered in August.
Leading brands:
Renault: 317 units
Ford: 229 units
Iveco: 167 units
Toyota: 128 units
Mercedes-Benz: 99 units
