New Car Market in Romania: May, 2023 Figures Are Released

According to data, published by the General Directorate For Driving Licenses and Car Registration (DRCPIV) there were 14851 new light vehicles registered in Romania during May, 2023. CY2023 registrations amount to 66608 units (PC: 60231 units, LCV: 6377 units).

There were 13633 new passenger cars registered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 4225 units
Toyota: 1053 units
Volkswagen: 984 units
Škoda: 941 units
Renault: 902 units

There were 1218 new LCVs registered in May.
Leading brands:
Renault: 325 units
Ford: 292 units
Iveco: 129 units
Mercedes-Benz: 97 units
Volkswagen: 91 units
