New car market in Russia: March, 2022 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 62.9% in March 2022 compared to the same month of the preceding year. A total of 55,129 units were sold last month; 93,547 units less than in March 2021.

Top 10 brands in March, 2022:
Lada: 12,289 units
Kia: 6,336 units
Hyundai*: 4,909 units
Renault*: 4,072 units
Toyota*: 3,231 units
GAZ*: 2,886 units
Škoda: 2,803 units
Nissan: 2,699 units
Volkswagen: 2,435 units
UAZ*: 2,206 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
