According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 19,9% in December 2021 compared to the same month of the preceding year. A total of 133,470 units were sold last month; 33,196 units less than in December 2020.
In 2021 new car and LCV sales increased by 4,3% or by 67,955 units in comparison with the previous year.
In January—December 1 666 780 cars were sold.

Lada: 29,919 units
Kia: 15,531 units
Renault: 12,049 units
Toyota: 10,369 units
Hyundai: 7,591 units
Škoda: 7,206 units
GAZ*: 6,357 units
Nissan: 5,603 units
Haval: 4,361 units
Volkswagen: 4,354 units
*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
