New car market in Russia: August, 2020 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 0,5% in August 2020 compared to the same month of the previous year. This August, 137,517 units were sold; 722 units less than in August 2019.

Top 10 brands in August, 2020:
Lada: 28,621 units
Kia: 19,818 units
Hyundai: 14,462 units
Volkswagen: 11,400 units
Renault*: 10,906 units
Škoda: 9,001 units
Toyota: 7,132 units
GAZ*: 3,856 units
Nissan: 3,852 units
UAZ: 2,910 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
