New car market in Russia: July, 2020 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 6,8% in July 2020 compared to the same month of the previous year. This July, 141,924 units were sold; 9,097 units more than in July 2019.

In the first seven month of 2020, sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia amounted to 742,681 units.

Top 10 brands in July, 2020:
Lada: 31,180 units
Kia: 18,038 units
Hyundai: 14,319 units
Škoda: 12,329 units
Renault*: 11,606 units
Volkswagen: 10,735 units
Toyota: 8,897 units
Nissan: 5,315 units
GAZ*: 3,592 units
UAZ*: 2,619 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
