New car market in Russia: February, 2020 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 2.2% in February 2020 compared to the same month of the previous year. In February, 119,073 units were sold; 2,699 units more less in February 2019.

In the firt two months of 2020, a total of 221,175 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in February, 2020:
Lada: 25,002 units
Kia: 17,107 units
Hyundai: 14,368 units
Renault*: 10,123 units
Toyota: 8,239 units
Volkswagen: 7,518 units
Nissan: 5,725 units
Škoda: 5,200 units
GAZ*: 3,816 units
Mitsubishi: 3,303 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
