New car market in Russia: June, 2019 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 3,3% in June 2019 compared to the same month of the previous year. This June, 151,180 units were sold; 5,171 units less than in June 2018.

In the first half of 2019, a total of 828,750 new cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in June, 2019:
Lada: 30,768 units
Kia: 19,343 units
Hyundai: 16,331 units
Renault*: 11,944 units
Volkswagen: 9,441 units
Toyota: 8,548 units
Škoda: 7,054 units
Ford*: 6,146 units
Nissan*: 5,450 units
GAZ LCV: 4,796 units
*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
