New car market in Russia: October, 2018 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 8,2% in October 2018 compared to the same month of the previous year. This October, 160,425 units were sold; 12,097 units more than in October 2017.

In the first ten months of 2018, a total of 1,457,857 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in October, 2018:
Lada: 32,005 units
Kia: 21,002 units
Hyundai: 15,820 units
Renault*: 12,154 units
Volkswagen: 9,928 units
Toyota*: 8,424 units
Škoda: 7,614 units
Nissan: 7,094 units
GAZ LCV: 5,457 units
Ford: 4,398 units
*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
