New car market in Russia: July, 2018 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 10.6% in July 2018 compared to the same month of the previous year. This July, 143,452 units were sold; 13,796 units more than in July 2017.

In the first seven months of 2018, a total of 990,673 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in July, 2018:
Lada: 29,389 units
Kia: 18,508 units
Hyundai: 14,364 units
Renault*: 10,518 units
Toyota*: 9,737 units
Volkswagen: 8,611 units
Škoda: 6,616 units
Nissan: 5,961 units
GAZ LCV: 5,068 units
Ford: 3,868 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
