New car market in Russia: May, 2018 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 18% in May 2018 compared to the same month of the previous year. This May, 147,525 units were sold; 22,524 units more than in May 2017.

Top 10 brands in May, 2018:
Lada: 28,654 units
Kia: 19,561 units
Hyundai: 15,859 units
Renault*: 12,128 units
Volkswagen: 9,025 units
Toyota*: 8,616 units
Škoda: 5,973 units
Nissan: 5,941 units
GAZ LCV*: 4,675 units
Ford: 3,701 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
