New car market in Russia: September, 2017 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 17,9% in Setember 2017 compared to the same month of 2016. This September 148,371 units were sold; 22,524 units more than in September 2016.

In the first nine months of 2017, 1,129,374 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in September, 2017:
Lada: 28,263 units
Kia: 18,797 units
Hyundai: 15,899 units
Renault*: 12,739 units
Volkswagen: 8,057 units
Toyota*: 7,599 units
Nissan*: 6,650 units
Škoda: 5,790 units
GAZ*: 5,100 units
Ford*: 4,663 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
