New car market in Russia: June, 2017 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia increased by 15% in June 2017 compared to the same month of 2016. This May 141,084 units were sold; 18,405 units more than in June 2016.

In the first half of 2017, 718,529 cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in June, 2017:
Lada: 27,396 units
Kia: 16,755 units
Hyundai: 14,673 units
Renault*: 12,239 units
Toyota*: 9,059 units
Volkswagen: 7,357 units
Nissan*: 6,900 units
Škoda: 5,656 units
GAZ*: 5,175 units
Ford*: 4,557 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
