New car market in Romania: May, 2017 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In May, 2017 there were 13,150 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers. During the first five months of 2017 total deliveries amounted to 51,074 units (PC: 43,595 units; LCV: 7479 units)

There were 11,586 new passenger cars delivered in May.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 3604 units
Volkswagen: 1294 units
Renault: 1036 units
Škoda: 910 units
Ford: 640 units

There were 1564 new LCVs delivered in May.
Leading brands:
Ford: 322 units
Dacia: 236 units
Mercedes: 236 units
Volkswagen: 175 units
Renault: 134 units
