New car market in Romania: August, 2013 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In August, there were 6,890 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers.

There were 6,272 new passenger cars delivered.
Leading brands
Dacia: 2,499 units
Volkswagen: 521 units
Ford: 442 units
Skoda: 405 units
Opel: 357 units
Hyundai: 234 units
Toyota: 218 units
Renault: 204 units

There were 618 LCVs delivered
Leading brands:
Dacia: 114 units
Mercedes-Benz: 110 units
Ford: 91 units
Renault: 67 units
Fiat: 47 units
Volkswagen: 44 units
