New car market in Romania: May, 2013 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In April, there were 6,047 new cars and LCVs sold.

There were 4,061 new passenger cars registered:
Leading brands
Dacia: 1,134 units
Volkswagen: 427 units
Ford: 270 units
Skoda: 253 units
Renault: 217 units
Opel: 204 units

There were 656 LCVs registered
Leading brands:
Dacia: 125 units
Mercedes-Benz: 88 units
Renault: 85 units
Ford: 77 units
Volkswagen: 63 units
