New car market in Romania: April, 2013 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In April, there were 6,047 new cars and LCVs sold.

There were 5268 new passenger cars sold
Leading brands
Dacia: 1,626 units
Volkswagen: 659 units
Skoda: 354 units
Renault: 251 units
Opel: 247 units

There were 779 LCVs sold
Leading brands:
Dacia: 142 units
Mercedes-Benz: 87 units (estimated)
Ford: 86 units
Volkswagen: 66 units (estimated)
