New car market in Macedonia: December, 2012 and full-year figures are released

According to data published by the Automotive Importers Association of the Republic of Macedonia, there were 4,816 light vehicles sold in Macedonia during 2012.

There were 4,099 passenger cars sold.
Leading brands:
Volkswagen: 625 units
Škoda: 315 units
Opel: 283 units
Citroen: 244 units
Fiat: 231 units
Hyundai: 226 units
Chevrolet: 212 units
Ford: 197 units

There were 717 LCVs sold.
Leading brands:
Fiat: 203 units
Renault: 113 units
Volkswagen: 105 units
Peugeot: 69 units

As for December there were 393 cars sold. Out of that figure, there were 301 passenger cars (Volkswagen: 41 units, Citroen: 22 units, Fiat: 21 units) and just 92 LCVs.
