New car market in Russia: June, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 12,5% in June 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This June 122,633 units were sold; 17,562 units less than in June 2015.
Total sales in the first half of 2016 amounted to 672,140 cars.

Top 10 brands in June, 2016:
Lada: 22,229 units
Kia: 12,780 units
Hyundai*: 12,001 units
Renault*: 10,075 units
Toyota*: 7,085 units
Volkswagen: 6,218 units
GAZ*: 6,103 units
Nissan*: 6,009 units
Škoda: 4,796 units
UAZ*: 4,708 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
