MOSCOW, Russia - Russian car maker Sollers has commenced production of the new SsangYong Actyon (C200) crossover at is ’Dalzavod’ manufacturing plant in the Russian Far East city of Vladivostok, where it also assembles the Actyon Sports, Kyron and Rexton SUVs. The new Actyon, available in Russia with 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, and a choice of a six-speed manual or automatic transmission, will go on sale in Russia next month, while the Actyon C100 is going to be phased out in about a year.
Sollers-Far East plans to almost double its annual assembly capacity from 13,7 thousand to 25 thousand SsangYong vehicles, built from South Korea-sourced knocked-down kits. For the production of the New Actyon a second assembly line has been put into operation at the plant.
New Actyon, which is known as Korando elsewhere is being assembled at Solelrsá Dalzavod plant in Vladivostok
