Suzuki to Cut Production at Hungary Plant

In order to handle the difficult situation caused by deteriorating European automobile markets, Magyar Suzuki will realign its production schedule for the year-end period of November and December to a one-shift operation. MSC will not reduce its manpower level as the company has decided to overcome this difficulty by the change of the working shift schedule instead. This change will not affect the supply of vehicles to either Hungary or the European distributors. From January 2013 MSC is planning to get back to the regular 2-shift operation production schedule.
