Grammer CZ Starts Production at new hall

Construction of the building and the purchase and installation of the necessary equipment cost the company over CZK300 million (app. €11.5 million). With its latest investment, local subsidiary Grammer CZ, s.r.o. has expanded manufacturing and warehouse space by 40 percent at its Tachov site. The investment is related to the new long-term orders for complete seating systems for Daimler and DAF.
The company has hired 115 new employees for the new project, and it plans to add another 80 workers in January 2012.

Grammer CZ is headquartered in Most and it operates two other production factories in the Czech Republic - in Tachov, and Dolni Kralovice - where various seating system components and interior trim parts are being produced.
