Hungarian Tyre Makers Set Up Federation

Tire makers Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear, Hankook, Michelin, Pirelli and Vredestein have established the Hungarian Tire Association (HTA), the professional body’s head Peter Morenth said at a press conference on Thursday. Tire makers in Hungary generated revenue of more than HUF 230bn in 2010. They employ more than 10,000 people directly and provide work indirectly for a further 15,000 Hungarians.
