Once built, it will allow the company to boost capacity and simplify logistics of steering systems destined for use in AvtoVAZ cars. The company also may switch production from its existing Togliatti site to the new plant in the special economic zone, local newswire RBK Daily reports, citing sources at Russia’s National Association of Automotive Component Manufacturers (NAPAK).
