New car market in Russia: April, 2016 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 8,5% in April 2016 compared to the same month of 2015. This April 121,272 units were sold; 11,269 units less than in April 2015.
Total sales in the first four months of 2016 amounted to 440,583 cars.

Top 10 brands in April, 2016:
Lada: 24,648 units
Hyundai*: 12,201 units
Kia: 12,114 units
Renault*: 9,729 units
Toyota*: 8,027 units
Volkswagen: 5,978 units
Škoda: 4,936 units
GAZ*: 4,830 units
Nissan*: 4,474 units
UAZ*: 4,029 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
