New Director Appointed at Volkswagen Slovakia

Albrecht Reimold (50) has been appointed as CEO of Volkswagen Slovakia a.s., effective as of February 1st, 2012. He succeeds Andreas Tostmann (49), who will be the new CEO at SEAT.

Albrecht Reimold began his professional career in 1987 as a trainee at Audi in Neckarsulm. In 1993, he became the managing engineer at the Audi A8 body shop and five years later the production manager of the Audi A2. From 2002 he was responsible for production planning of the Audi A6, Audi A8 and the R8 sports car. He gained international experience in Changchun, China and in Aurangabad, India. Since January 2009, Reimold has been the plant manager at Audi in Neckarsulm.
