Additional State Subsidies for Audi’s Expansion Investments in Hungary

German automaker Audi will receive an additional HUF2.1 billion (approx. €7.8 million) in state support for the company's pressing plant in Győr (NW Hungary), bringing the total amount of state support allocated to the expansion investment to HUF13.3 billion (about €49.5 million), local newswire nyugathir.hu reports, citing State Secretary Zsolt Becsey.

Audi Chairman Rupert Stadler said earlier that the company would employ 2,100 people at the plant rather than the originally expected 1,800.
