Faurecia Receives Approval for Expansion of Hlohovec Plant

France-based Faurecia S.A., a supplier of car seating, exhaust systems and exterior/interior trim parts, is investing €11.5 million to expand its manufacturing facility in Hlohovec, southwestern Slovakia, TASR news agency reported. The project, which also includes the construction of a storage and administration building, is set for completion in December. The investment will create 150 jobs.

Annual production capacity of instrument panels will grow from current 264 thousand to 631 thousand, while capacity of door trim panels will more than triple from 436 thousand to 1.44 million. Production of bumpers will increase up from 528 thousand to 600 thousand.
