Romanian car manufacturer Dacia said on Wednesday it has invested €30 million since 2007 to raise sevenfold the capacity of its press machinery unit, Dacia Moulds.
"The money was used for the increase the surface of the workshops by 60%, for the purchase of new equipment, for the rearrangement of the production flow and for the training of the employees," Dacia said in a statement.
Renault's factories in Romania, Morocco, India, Turkey, Slovenia, Argentina, Brazil, France and Spain have already been endowed with machinery designed at Dacia Moulds. The company reported a turnover over €7.5 million in 2010, with exports represent 90% of the its annual sales.
