Škoda will be producing a special version of Yeti in China

SHANGHAI, China - Winfried Vahland, chairman of Škoda confirmed that Shanghai-Volkswagen will produce a special Yeti beginning in 2013.

To accomodate for the taste of local consumers, the Chinese Yeti will be six centimeters longer, than its European version - says a report in Dnes, a Czech daily. A lot of automobile manufacturers, including Audi, BMW, Cadillac and Mercedes offer similar variants of those models which are produced for the local market.
