Sollers Sales Grew by 80 % in the First Quarter of 2011

The sales of Sollers Group grew by 80% in the first quarter of 2011, compared to the same period of 2010, and amounted to 22,387 cars. Strong sales growth was recorded across all brands represented by the company. In particular, sales of UAZ vehicles (including export) rose to 12,296, that is 72% over the first quarter of the last year results (7,134 cars).

Sollers Group sold 5,870 Fiat cars in the first three months of this year, making a 97% growth of the 2010 rates. The sales of SsangYong sports utility vehicles produced at Sollers-Far East automobile plant in the first quarter of 2011 amounted to 3,574 cars, 98% more than in 2010 (1,805 cars). Increase in sales of Isuzu trucks in the first three months of this year amounted to 24% – a total of 647 vehicles sold (including LCV and HDT), compared to 523 in the same period of the previous year.
