New car market in Russia: April, 2015 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 41,5% in April 2015 compared to the same period of 2014. This April 132,456 units were sold; 94,070 units less than in April, 2014.
In the first four months of 2015, 516,135 new cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in April, 2015:
Lada: 22,859 units
Kia: 13,902 units
Hyundai*: 13,701 units
Renault*: 10,268 units
Toyota*: 6,992 units
Nissan*: 6,599 units
Volkswagen: 6,150 units
Chevrolet: 4,824 units
Škoda: 4,525 units
GAZ*: 4,306 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
