New car market in Russia: March, 2015 figures are released

According to the AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee (AEB AMC), sales of new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia decreased by 42,5% in March 2015 compared to the same period of 2014. This March 139,850 units were sold; 103,482 units less than in March, 2014.
In the first three months of 2015, 383,691 new cars and LCVs were sold in Russia.

Top 10 brands in March, 2015:
Lada: 27,423 units
Hyundai*: 13,901 units
Kia: 12,121 units
Toyota*: 9,731 units
Renault*: 9,507 units
Nissan*: 8,635 units
Volkswagen: 6,150 units
Škoda: 4,565 units
GAZ*: 4,267 units
Mercedes-Benz*: 4,015 units

*LCV sales are included into total brand's sales.
