New car market in Romania: June, 2014 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In June 2014, there were 10,103 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers.
In the first half of 2014, total nem light vehicle registrations in Romania amounted to 44,626 units.

There were 9,121 new passenger cars delivered in June, 2014.
Leading brands
Dacia: 3,481 units
Volkswagen: 932 units
Škoda: 810 units
Renault: 699 units
Ford: 619 units
Opel: 408 units
Hyundai: 216 units
Toyota: 209 units
Mercedes-Benz: 178 units
Nissan: 172 units
Peugeot: 172 units

There were 982 new LCVs delivered in June, 2014.
Leading brands:
Dacia: 241 units
Mercedes-Benz: 141 units
Ford: 117 units
Fiat: 105 units
Renault: 102 units
