New car market in Romania: April, 2014 figures are released

The latest statistical bulletin has been published by Automotive Manufacturers and Importers Association in Romania. In April 2014, there were 7,692 new cars and LCVs supplied to dealers.

There were 6,768 new passenger cars delivered.
Leading brands
Dacia: 2,216 units
Volkswagen: 656 units
Škoda: 627 units
Renault: 542 units
Ford: 350 units
Hyundai: 266 units
Opel: 266 units
Toyota: 224 units

There were 924 LCVs delivered
Leading brands:
Dacia: 210 units
Mercedes-Benz: 144 units*
Volkswagen: 97 units
Renault: 90 units
